Default Brand-Free Tools

How long does the branding take to come off. (e.g. Powered by IWebTools).

I have followed the instructions perfectly and the tag has not yet been removed. If there is any way of manually removing them, this would be appreciated.

Yours Sincerely,
Kieran Taylor,

Hello there SimpleNetwork, i've just had a quick glace at your account and it appears that you've entered the incorrect address.

The brand-free is assigned to: http://simplenetwork.co.uk/webmaster...espeedtest.htm

The links on your website is:
http://webmastertools.simplenetwork....espeedtest.htm

If you need any help setting up the brand-free, let me know or contact the team straight using http://www.iwebtool.com/contact/

Ok Kenni,

I have just changed them all, and still no change. I don't want to sound impatient although I do not know how long this takes.

If you could tell me how long this take I would be ever so grateful!

Yours Sincerely,
Kieran Taylor,

The back link has still not been removed. It may look like it has to you because of the resolution you are using, although I am using 1280x960 so I see alot more than most people.

My friend who uses 1024x760 says he cannot see them although I still can. I have delete cookies, temporary internet files, cache and everything so I know it isn't a cookie error or anything alike.

Is there any way to manually remove it because I would be happy enough to do that.

*Could I note that response in this forum is excellent.*

Kieran Taylor,

SimpleNetwork,

The way the brand-free tools operate is that they detect the referal address which the browsers sends, at which point it removes the branding link. The reason why you still may see the link is that your browser might not be sending the correct referal address, this is nothing to worry about. To most other users it should have removed the brand-free just fine.

By the way: Do you have a firewall running? Any type of privacy software?

Hello

well it seems I get the same type of problem here.

I am currently testing the iwebtools, which I find very useful and by the way thank you for offering such a service, and everything works fine.

At least besides the Link Popularity Checker that does not seem to be able to retrieve yahoo and ask jeeves number of links (outputting 0 where it's not the case, the provided link though will lead to the proper listing in those two).

But, this is no big deal, my concern come with the Link Extractor, which I find useful as well, I did the same as for the others, posted the html code and registered the url in the brand free tool section, but the Provided by iWEBTOOL links remains and the number of time the tool was used stays to 0. The tool works great though.

Then, I know internet is all about links and I personally will post the iwebtool web site in my directories (hard links don't worry ) because I am pleased you offer such good tools.

But i would prefer not to see this one (in the iframe any way, so SEO useless) . Is there a limited amount of tools that one site / account can use ?

Because I already registered 8 brand free tools on two different sub domains.

Thanks a lot.

dcz

Doesn't work for me either but I think I know why.

I redirect all traffic from http://parkingnoobie.com to http://www.parkingnoobie.com and the brandfree strips the www.
The counter is 0
Possible?
