Wink -=Review these please. Thanks =-

Hello,

Over the last few days i have worked on making few themes for the famous php link directory script and here are the outcomes:

1. http://www.sbclansite.com

2. http://www.a1whs.com/directory

3. http://www.a1whs.com/demo3

Please review them and i need some color themes for 2nd one as i am not good with colors . Also colors for others might not be good so please suggest some colors.

Thanks

hey a1whs.com, your #1 templates is very good compred to the other two. I'll rate the #1 8/10. However for #2 you should really consider a lpain background and re do your design (no offense) and lastly for #3 is well structured however the colours dont go much. I recommend you to use light effective colours on light backgrounds.

Thanks AKy but trust me i am the worst when it comes with colors my tastes people dont like . So can you provide colors say for 3rd one what color you would suggest ? Red ,Dark Blue, Yellow , Pink etc ?

And yaa #2 was just a porting i did of a old forums theme i had on me . But that was the start of me, understanding how to code a theme and make it php link directory compatible.

I plan to use some free templates i can find and do porting into the directory and offer them for free, but with my tastes of colors people might say "LOL" .

So for light themes i choose dark colors or light colors ? and Themes for directories need to be dark or light ? What do you prefer?

In site #2, if you're going to stick with the dark color scheme I suggest you at least get rid of the tiled background. For my taste, it makes the links hard to read. Also, the numbers in parenthesis should be a little bit lighter in color. I really didn't see them as soon as I took a glance at the page.

In site #1 the curved edges of the header need some work. They look a bit rough. The header in general is too big. Color is alright though.

The tables in Site #3 get out of shape when you navigate through it.
