![]() | I agree it would be nice. Especially, does anybody have any quantitative information about just how much particular directories helped them? I mean, it does take time -- and sometimes money -- to get listed. Just what are you buying? ---- Please try my Web-based psych experiments at http://coglanglab.org |

![]() | Go to http://www.directorycritic.com and info.vilesilencer.com for your lists of lists to submit to. Paid and free directories. Paid directories are more prone to have higher PR to pass on. Many times the high PR is due to the directory buying high PR links from other site(s). So they have an investment and they work at keeping the value high through ongoing link buying. Part of the value for your payment and PR received. Many free directories have good PR too. Any time you pay for submission review, you will be listed ahead of others who do not pay. Free submissions take longer many times as the directory owner is not being paid to rush to get all links cleared asap. Just a reality. Takes longer than one would think to visit and check out a submitted site. If the site owner is very particular about quality, the process takes longer. 5 to 10 minutes a site, 40 to 80 sites a day submitted, takes time. Back links are back links, it is all good. Time? Not sure in general, I see some fast results for serps, others takes a longer time and sometimes does not seem to help at all. Back links are just part of the equation- Content is King and Links are Queen. |
