To answer your question to get a PR 6 you need about 20,000 backlinks, start by submitting to HIGH pagerank Directories, and multi directories

I can vouch for that statment as my sites PR is currently 0 however rankes #1 in google for its keywords among some high PR7/6/5/4 sites

Can anyone explain how they know their ACTUAL PR? Because Google NEVER shows current Pr to anyone other than google employees with the correct access authority at the Googleplex!
