I like your design, it's very simple and straight forward. Just as you mentioned, a logo wouldn't hurt but the rest of the web site looks just great.

The design is very clean and minimalist. Aside from the whole logo thing, I see nothing wrong at all. Good job.

Just like inserting an avatar, it adds personality to your identity. So a header image adds character to your site. Whatever you design, bear in mind your identity color is light blue, thus used same pentone.
