What determines each click's worth?

Sometimes I'll get as little as 5 cents a click, other times, one click'll be as high as 60 cents.

Does it have do with the specific ad that is clicked? Or where it is placed?

There are many factors that determines how much you get for a click. One of them is the geographic area.

A click received from Canada will worth more than a one received from India.

The site value (quality) is also important.

IT also depends on the ads showing, how much the advertiser bidded on that specific keyword. It's hard (almost impossible) to determine the prices per click..

Well basiclly what desssign and organic-one said are what I also think determites a clicks worth, but as organic said it's almost impossible to determite the prices per click.

Earning per click or CPC mainly depend on keyword used in your site , Certain high paying keyword pays as high as $40 to 50 per click and certain pays $.01 per click . The other main factor is location of click generation , Because adsense ads are location targeted so the clicks from US or Canada worths more than that of from India or china . If you rinse your site for high paying keyword certainly your earning per click increases , though there is large competition for it .
