![]() | These two sites provide domain absolutely for free and require no forum posting. http://www.domain-4free.com/ http://www.fanku.net/ However, domain-4free.com only provides you free domain if you have some unique visitors to your site daily and they place a top frame on your page. However, you should give them a try.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Hi there, So there is a catch! Damn, I really thought you meant FREE domains. I don't want ugly adverts on my website, I might as well use a .tk for that .Regards, Kieran Taylor. |

![]() | It's nice that you have found them out but I agree, the only problem is the adverts. But they are nice for the ones not yet able to get a website as they truly are going to have some webmaster experience and it's nice. |

![]() | co.nr offers free domains too How annoying is the little top frame? Hopefully it's not too bad for seo...

When I was young I used to use .co.nr domains, all you need is some hosting, and the .co.nr domain works perfect. Not a bad domain either .co.nr. Regards, Kieran Taylor.

![]() | Not only is it an "okay" domain but it pretty much has the same value as other TLDs SEO wise right?

| Junior Member | www.ddboard.com offers free domain names in exchange for posting, if I post lots I can get a domain in a week, good for people like me with no credit card. I have gotten 4 domains from them so far.

Really? If you use something like .co.nr or .tk then it loads them in frames which means it is harder for search engines to crawl them, on one of my old .tk domains it was top of google, but the text for it said "Advertisements:" because that was what it found from the .tk ad frame. But for subdomains like uni.cc where you have dns control then I don't think it makes any difference.

Your on about the frame. The domain had nothing to do with the frame, the reason why you had that frame is because you hadn't purchased it of .tk. But domain extensions have nothing to do with SERP or SEO weight. You could have any domain in the world and it would work the same as any other. Regards, Kieran Taylor.
