Hi,

I run a site that just launched and I am trying to do a bit of link building. I know that exchanging links (even when they are relevant good clean links) doesn't give you as much pop as one way links but when you are just starting out and don't have bucks o' cash, it's better than nothing.

Now that being said, has anyone here purchased links and was it worth the money? I've seen links advertised for insane amounts that I can't imagine ever spending on one little link. Is one little link going to boost your site ranking that high that it's worth over a hundred dollars a month? That just seems crazy to me.

I'm not sure if it's something I'm even willing to do yet but one way links are just a tad bit hard to get when you aren't even listed on google yet (just submitted a couple of days ago)... any ideas?

Buying links can save you a lot of time. I've never purchased links because all my websites are nonprofit and it does not worth investing money in SEO, but If have the budget I suggest buying links.


But be careful when you buy links for new websites. High page rank links pointing to a brand new website can raise a flag to Google.

If I do buy links, I doubt I could afford the real high rankers anyhow. Anything higher than five bucks is too rich for my blood at this point.

Buying links should be your last step. First of all build One way links from directories submission, Article submission. Then do link exchange. After your website give some profit, you will need to buy some Good payment links.

directories are fine and all, that is pretty much a given but I doubt I'm going to do the whole writing articles thing, it's just not for me. Thanks for the ideas though! Have a good one!

It is pretty important in my point of the view, it does not only help your web site gaining a better pagerank, it also helps your website gaining more traffic.

First of all, I would start submitting to 'free directories', also remember when you purchase links always remember purchasing a link in the same website category is always a good way.

I just feel that if you are new in the game buying link may not be the right thing to do. Try to provide good value to your site and submit article that relates to what you are providing.

Try to build your own link backs first..

There are a lot of fake PRs out there.
You see a site with PR7 on its main page and no PR on secondary pages..

Always check if they are indexed on google..also check their link backs..

If you buy good quality links from PR2 and PR2+ from themed sites and pages, you will gain good boost in your web site rankings! Buying links is generally done for more targeted traffic. As per page rank wont do much good. You can do better submitting articles on digg etc.
Also you can advertise on free classified sites like http://www.webcosmo.com to build your link.

Buying links is good if done correctly.
First make sure you choose a site with similar content, this is good for ranking.
Genearally sites that charge for links are not swamped with free links, thus watering down the quality and strength of your link.
Try to buy in visable areas if you can, so you may also generate some traffic.
Generally though links are not usually a great creator of traffic.

Hi, you certainly can buy links, and in fact many powerful sites are doing this for years, the links can come from directories or on site pages.

But do that very gradually and do not rush.

Every now and then you would run a website in a certain niche and find it hard to get related backlinks. The easy option is to contact related websites and ask to buy a few backlinks. It just saves you time. You just need to make sure its worth it.
