  |  How come when i run a backlink check, i only see... links under yahoo, and lots of them. But with Google i have none. My site is a blog, and a new one, but i'm wondering why i'm backlinked in Yahoo but not Google? |

The reason why there is no backlinks in Google because of the pr update and same time the update of backlinks in google. The pr update will be this july and check it if there is any update. |

| Re: How come when i run a backlink check, i only see... Google update the number of backlinks four times a year and for some security reason it show a very small porion of them. For backlink checking i suggest you to use the Yahoo! Site Explorer service.

| Re: How come when i run a backlink check, i only see... Google doesn't show all backlinks in order to protect competitors from one another. Yahoo, Google, Live, etc all have their own spiders so may not catch the same backlinks. Also, Google doesn't follow nofollow links so will not display the same links as Yahoo. |
