Hey yooozy welcome to iWebTool.

The registration provides full access to many features provided by the webmaster so you may enjoy what they are giving to you. In other words, if you're a guest you don't get much of anything, but if you register, you have basically all access.

What do they gain in return? traffic, visitors and possibly sales if they provide services such as clothing, accessories etc.

I guess you didn't understand or comprehend my post to your topic. The webmaster who owns the site markets the domain to the internet by advertising it. There is only one way to gain any traffic to the site and that is advertising.

As for marketing I don't see why it would matter as it's done through advertising campaigns (if the owner chooses to do so) and by building back links to their site. The owner gains publicity to the internet by their keywords and that is how traffic is built.

Next you're asking about the registration...People want to have promising members that want to enjoy the sites services and what they have to offer, such as tools, email services, directory submissions, downloads, etc etc. This is the reason for registration and to gain these access tools you need to register.

A guest will NOT get these if the owner does not allow it. This will bring traffic and possibilities of sales if the owner has products to provide to the members of the site.

probably u didn't understand my question ..i know members have access to a couple of services that guests can't that's pretty clear

i wonder why do I have (as a webmaster ) to require registration since traffic is the same whether they are guests or members see?

i "think" requirin sing up is puttin hurdles to increase traffic ppl wanna get fast to the things the look for

i "think" websites that restrict services to members r less popular than those without any requirement

i see no reason (till some1 prove me wrong) for requirin registration

i hope get it now
