![]() | Hi everybody, I was wondering if someone might help me to fix strange things happened with my IIS server. Today I noticed my IIS is not functioning. I went to the services administration trying to fix it. It goes with the error message that it cannot find the path. Then I went to IIS consol by itself and noticed that I cannot run right mouse click for "properties of Internet Information Service". Double-clicking on "Internet Information Service" doesn't help too, it looks like folter is blank. Another words its full of mess., and I really don't know what to do. How to start running my IIS. Please help!!! Have a great day, Peter |

![]() | Have you tried restarting the IIS Admin service in Administraive Tools > Services? If that doesn't help, try rebooting the server. |

![]() | I tried to do what you suggest. I also tried to connect IIS manually to computer by entering "my computer name" into the prompt of IIS console, it gives an error "Error connecting to my computer name. Cannot find the path specified." It looks like it's something wrong with the path. I went to the file manager to check IIS files, they all exist (may be not all of them, that I don't know). I start thinking may be some hackers did it for me. But now it doen't matter, I have to find the way how to fix it. Your help will be greatly appreciated. Peter |

![]() | Thanks for trying to help me. I fixed that issue with IIS the simplest way. . First, I uninstalled IIS as a component of OS, and then reinstalled it again. While rebooting the system it starded fixing bad files and references, probably the system was corrupted. But anyway, now I know how to fix it. Now my site is up and running, you can try www.supremedeal.com. If anyone have similar issues, I will give my advice. Have a great day, Peter |
