The difference is that deep links meaning you can put your inner links of you site in a directory that support deep links while regular directories only the index of you site...

Just when I think I'm beginning to make progress, most of my pages go back into the supplemental index. This is getting really frustrating.

I even submitted my site to a few deep link directories recently (Not that I expect it to make a big difference right away though).

Also, the robot.txt file didnt seem to work very well, as its only restricting a few pages. What would the code be to also restrict my comment pages (Theres like 20 of them there that aren't necessary), and theres even some pages that are listed more than once (and only ONE actual page)?

Literally overnight ALL my pages just came out of the supplemental index! Even the crappy ones.

I have no idea how it happened either, I got a few links, and a few hits from social bookmarking, but nowhere near a "huge spike" enough to think that it would have this great of an effect.

Just hope it says this way now

Supplemental pages are still a matter of difference among people, many believe links are the answer to get out, other might say fresh content is working, I still don't know what works best?

Don't mean to bust the bubble but Google has stopped showing the supplemental results tag but are continuing to maintain the supp index. to see how many pages are not in the supp index use the site:www.domain.com/* command.

Well, that sucks

Did they just implement this today? Is this going to be the new standard?

Been working on link building but I was wondering which would be better, working on regular linking or deep linking, as my "individual list pages" are the ones I prefer indexed in Google more?
