Possible PR update starting?

I'm getting some weird BL results at some data centres this morning, not sure if this is a very early indication of the start of an update period or not.

Yea, Google started a data push a few days ago. I see the total pages for various searches I monitor going way, way up and then backing off. Total Google links via the link: command has changed also, both precursors to a PR update.

Are you saying we need to use that thread to discuss anything to do with PR updates, it's from the April Update?

Not sure what official policy is, but most forums have one single google update thread and you just add to it rather than start a new one all the time. It helps compare the various updates as well. Don't mean you have to read it all though just add to it

Yes we advise that you use the official thread, since it creates a lot of confusion throughout the forum when everyone starts their own. Don't worry if it is too long, just add to it, other people like to compare the data you see, plus it helps us work out just how accurate the PR prediction tool actually is.

Is this update concerned with BL update or with PR update.

There's no hard and fast date for Google PR updates it seems. But it looks like it's happening soon, around 25-27 Jul.

I have been watching the posting of everyone and doing some 'lilyputts' calculations, I do think you are right tho.
