Google adword CPC

Hello,

i have a question, when we do a google adword we specify max budget per day and max CPC.

What is the recommended value for CPC that we will not pay too much but also that the ad not becoming inactive so quickly ?

Any feedback will be appreciated,

Entirely depending on how competitive your industry is. Real Estate is 1 industry that would ramp up your CPC if you don't choose your niche other than the normal service like "sell home", "buy home" which can easily cost $10 CPC. But the niche'd probably be "shop for takeover", "office rental" which cost as low as $1 CPC.

Of course, having few keyphrases would also spread out your competitiveness and put you on the edge again.

It depends on your profit margin and your Conversion.

If you sell every 10 clicks and a click is 10p and you make £2.00
Then every 10 clicks you will spend £1.00 and get a sale of £1.00 Profit.

So you can probably bid 15p... but that will reduce your margin to 50p!! logical?

The great thing is that you can try it and see! Just experiment witin reasonable limits for your budget and see what happens. If you use more imaginitive keyword combinations you can keep the cost down. I get some good hits for as little as 7p!
