Default Are the links in the directory SEO friendly?

Do the links in and to the directory contain the rel="nofollow" tag?

It's strange to hear such questions on webmaster forum...

Why not to check page source code and see it?

The links in the main directory page DO contain the rel="nofollow" tag. The links in the pages with the outbound don't contain the tag.

Well wait, the search engines don't follow links with the nofollow, do they not?

No they don't. Which means that all of the links in the paid directory have no pr value.

Good point, actually. I guess I'll ask kenni. I'm sure he has a good reason.

Nofollow is only applied to those additional categories. EG

Arts (28)
Photography, Music, << nofollow

Computers (25)
Software, Hardware, << no follow

The main categories will share PR and all your links will also recieve PR and Ranking.
