Next PR update

How long do I have and would it be possible to get at least PR4 in the time by using http://www.digixmas.com?

Digixmas is a really great software but the results mainly depends on your subscription. With the free version you will be able to submit your site into 150-200 PR0 directories and i guess the real time value is not much higher. With blogpost you have bigger chance to achieve PR4 in my opinion.

Surprised at that response especially from a moderator.

The guy has got 1 post to his name, so this may suggest that he is not upto what some would say a normal level.

Even if not a seo newbie, each individual is entitled to their own views and opinions on each subject.

To be so dismissive to a newcomer seems a bit strange..... I thought IWT was about welcoming newcomers and helping them, not becoming telling new people you're sick of the same threads

There is a stickied official IWT Pagerank update thread, I've seen a couple of PR update threads here at IWT, It would be better to merge every topic, into one large topic.

This also makes it less confusing..

You can do it. All it takes is a good number of BL's that will get indexed fast.

It was a drive by spamming not a newcomer.

This same post was made across a host of forums, not just this one.

Apologies if I appeared to be unwelcoming to a new member it wasn't my intention.

You might not know this. Imagine if you're head-over tails against a competitor, having a higher PR might just bring you ahead in SEO Rankings. I've got many keywords that I'm targeting and I'm sure many out there have them too.

I should be asking you, why you are not interested with PR updates then. Is it because you're not competing for any keywords?

But WHAT has that got to do with a Google Toolbar export Edmund? Google updates its PageRank on a daily rolling basis, it only EXPORTS a snapshot of PR preiodically. Toolbar PR has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with current ranking other than being an indication of what it once was!

Good question, I am not interested in PR updates (I assume you mean toolbar PR not ACTUAL PR in the google backend, the one they use for the ranking algo)

Am I competing for keywords? THOUSANDS for my own and client sites. But haven't you ever wondered why it is that positions in the SERP's move constantly? Have you not wondered how can positions change daily if the google index is only updated quarterly?

The answer is simple and it is in that 'everflux' word I used. Edmund you are painting yourself as an SEO expert, I am sure you are aware of exactly how the google spidering, indexing and updating system works as it is common knowledge amongst most people.

I assume that the ' Old Welsh Guy, You might not know this' comment was just a language translation thing and not a put down at all
