Edmund, are you going to reply to this thread or not? You make a challenge on my post, ask me a question, then ignore my reply. I have noticed that you never actually get involved in discussions on the forums you post in, it is as if you are simply posting to build backlinks and self promote rather than actually get involved.

It shouldn't affect the flow of the thread much Steve LOL It is a shame though, because as he claims to be a gogle expert, I am sure he has a lot of stuff to say, but choses not to say it. Make me wonder if it is actually HIM making the posts?

Thanks for that, Old Welsh Guy... although it was a fairly grumpy response, the explaination was useful to me. Although I understand the principles of Google & PR, I am quite new to SEO and couldn't understand why PRs take so long to change when Google is obviously crawling all the time and updating its search criteria continuously.

This simple fact that "PR is updated continually but only made public every few months" makes perfect sense once you know!

yep it was a 'mister grumpy on grumping Sunday' response

Edmund is expert at making contentious posts but NEVER replying to them. His methodology is flawed, and his claim to be an SEO expert make him a legend in his own mind. I Honestly believe that he is simply spamming forums by making posts to drive traffic from them who are mainly unsuspecting newbies who spend the ridiculous amount of $180 to buy his flawed SEO videos. I can not stand people who set themselves up as experts but refuse to back it up with facts or debate etc. He contributes NOTHING to the forums he posts in as the instant he makes anything like a technical observation it is nine times out of ten either wrong or so ambiguous that it can mean anything

PR IS important, but not for the reasons many people think. TBPR is MONTHS out of date and as such is almost meaningless.

If you want to know anything else just post, and if I miss it, feel free to PM me and point out a thread (this applies to anyone). I am not the sort of SEO that hides behind ambiguous statements, I will tell you what I know and hopefully help you grow your business. It is the way I have ALWAYS done it from the instant I got involved with bulletin boards many years ago.

I firmly believe in the exchange of knowledge for the better good of all.
