| Newcomer | I have a page called Link_Partners.html. There are about 30 reciprocal links on this page. I have other link pages and links to good websites that are not reciprocal. Everytime I do a backlink check I get the message I don't have any links? Am I missing something here? Do I need something called a script page? and what is that? |

![]() | Suzie, there are some proper experts here who will help you, but I did have a quick look at your index page of your site and ran it thorugh another evaluation site www.dnscoop.com this showed 0pr and no backlinks. But all your pages are ranked by Google. This site shows Google not ranking your pages, but they do. (You can't rely on Google telling you accurately how many backlinks you have - they just show a sample) Perhaps Suzie your question might work better if it was moved to Search Engines, at present you are in General Talk and we are all getting worked up in this section about weighty matters such as when is it proper to lie to your wife, and should girls pretend they are really men in forums and vice versa. I don't know how to move your post, perhaps some expert will read it and do it, but if not then re-write it in the Seo section. Before you do have a look at your site in this one http://www.rankquest.com/index.html John This stuff will change the world one day, obviously. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Hi Susan, according to John's suggestion i moved your thread to the seo forum in order to provide more exposure. If you are curious about your link popularity i would suggest you to use the Yahoo! Site Explorer service. Currently it shows 25 link to your domain with the www prefix. You need to know that search enginges threat the www and non www domains as different sites so you need to choose which one you prefer more and set it at the google webmester central as preferred domain. As i saw the www version is fully in the supplemental index at google but more links points to this subdomain so i suggest you to set the www. yourdomain .com and implement this .htaccess code. Code:
In the future please use this domain (www version) at backlinking to your site. Concerning your reciprocal linking page i would say that this is rather a link farm. If you would like to place backlinks to different sites i would install some free directory script which would provide well structured content and linking opportunity for you. best luck to you, and if you have any further question let us know! ![]()

![]() | That has been a problem in many scripts namely phpLD directory.... Also about your page "Link_Partners.html", its generally a good practice to use "-" instead of "_".... Nima |

![]() ![]() | Having links to totally different themes on the smae page is not going to help you at all, in fact it is likely to get you into trouble. If you can not install a simple directory script, then at least group them into a manual directory style set of pages. with a main index page linking to each subject page.

If you check your link at Google you can't see a link 'coz Google don't show all links they just show it in random. The reason why they do it is due to it competitors links... You can check your links by using this. Backlinkwatch. It will check how many backlinks you have.. Hope it helps... ![]() | |
