Meta-Tags

Hello,

I've a site and added some meta-tag.
The only things in my meta-tag are discription, title and keywords.
Now I heard you can put some more stuff in your meta-tags like style-type, script-type, revisit-after etc.
I dont know if it's important to put that in my meta-tags.
Does any1 know if this is important?

I suggest not to use any more beside the title tag than expressive keyword and description tag. In some cases it worth using the meta language tag since it may help in geotargetting a website.

There isnt much use for the other meta tags apart from the main three

In fact came across a site on metatag generator but I forgot where.. Think you should just make it simple especially having only 1-3 keyphrases in the meta keyword.

Description and Keyword tags can be important but not as much... However if you want them to be useful for SEs you should on page SEO as well...

I don't know where to look for good keywords
only if I type Pinoy Teens in google, we're on page 1

Dexter, those three are enough. Infact Title seems to be the only important one. Search Engines don't give Description and Keywords that much importance due to spamming.

Kevin, try http://inventory.overture.com/d/sear...ry/suggestion/ . They may only have January's results but it's still a good place to start. Enter search phrases that you think will be relevant to your site and compare the number of searches for the terms. You can also use http://www.wordtracker.com but they're not quite as good. Another one is http://www.google.com/trends.

Good tools. Here is a simple yet effective method for finding keywords. SEO for Fire Fox also has some good tools for keyword determinations.

in my opinion, google ignores the meta tags . because of this i dont use any of the meta tags

Title is the main one for search engine, and description is still used by some for displaying results. Others are of limited value
