hittail.com has you put script on all your pages and from their site you can watch traffic come into your site real time, where they came from and the keywords they used.

fun program. Now once a day digg one and tag one of your top 10 using delicious. You will drive some traffic. Hopefully some will also digg and leave posts, save to favorites and so on.

Does hittail have a digg tracker or something, because I can't find it? (Instead of looking at the digg counter on all my webpages individually.)

Also, I couldn't find anything similar to analytics offers like charts, graphs, and counters. Is that all hittail basically is, a URL tracker? (So I could report exact numbers of how much traffic digg brings me.)

What hittail does is show you the long tail searches people are using to get to your site. How I use it the most is determining what keyphrases I can further optimize for, for instance - you can click on the referrer line, it will bring you to the page the visitor used to get to your site, let us suppose for a moment that when you slicked on it you found that the term they used was actually on page 3 of the search, I write the phrase down and check the amount of traffic the phrase gets. I then use that phrase (if the traffic is good) for the next couple of anchor texts I use, I may update the page, change an h tag and so on to further enhance the serps for the term. I get searches all the time that I never thought of. You can do the same thing with other tools like Google Analytics, your logs and so on but they don't show you where you rank, kinda saves a research step. I also like it because I do get good traffic, it is real time, and when bored I can watch people enter the site. I have noticed I have certain terms which people search for more at different times of day, I can almost see when people go to lunch

I can watch my main keyphrases start to morph into other phrases and almost start to think like the visitor when I put all the tools together and actaully analylize the results to try and better predict the future. I see a lot of potentail in your site, I like the idea. If I were you I would actually decrease the size of the ads - bigger is not always better, maybe use the image only ads to contrast the text only content. I look forward to watching you propel to the top!
