"Professional" appraisals just don't worth it. they will also over-evaluate your domain, so that you may command other appraisals too. I am talking about other s' appraisals, Godaddy or Sedo appraised their domain 10x and 50x times more than they actually sold their domain. so, basically you throw money on the window with professional appraisals.

And the current value depends. On the reseller market low $xxx (I know there were better sales of 1 letter domains but those were to end-users). Letter combo is good too.

But if you wait some years, you may find an end user. Sometimes they don't come, sometimes you are lucky enough.

But this could cost you, as the renewal fee is $50 a year, and the transfer system is not the easiest at the .md registrar.

Appraisals simply don't work.
But I have a good news, it is a good domain. I also monitored it when it dropped, but for whatever reason it did not drop at 2AM GMT+2 but later (I stayed awake till 4AM then when I woke up it was already taken by you.

I am active in the country code top level domain market for a while, and for whatever reason .md is a good extension. but you should have a lot of patience to sell. And if you want to sell well (like D.md sold for 10k then you have to wait years or maybe a lifetime.).

D.md was the exception, just like T.md (it went for 8k). usually these sales are in the $xxx area (but you can get that easily). I.md sold for 1.5k and another one(don't remember the letter for $500. Now there is where you can sell it fast.

Unfortunately even if it is a very easy and memorable domain you cannot develop it easily into something so that you would sell it for more. But will get you a net profit of $800 if you can market it easily.

If you have patience and good negotiation skills you can get $x.xxx for it, if you want a quick resale then you can get $xxx. By no means $xx.xxx.
