Default Web Statistics

Which web statistics service is available for monitoring visitor activities ?

Most fo such scripts provide overal referers, pages viewed, etc

I am taking about a system showing the pages viewed, referer, etc for each visitor independently

I think clicktracks does this, well it shows paths through the site. Then again analytics will also do this.

What are you trying to achieve? if you spell that out, then I would have a better idea on how to advise

Yes Google Analytics is good,

I am seeking for something like that, but I prefer to run a script on my own site

I wish to track the behavior of evey user. I want to see any new user has come from where? and in which order has viewed the pages.

I tried to use analytics, but for some reason it's not counting my stats, even by placing the code above the </body> tag it doesn't do anything :-/

You placed it on every page of your site correct? I didn't see my first results until 24 hours passed.

No, just the footer.php which has the </body> tag in it. Should I place it in every page even though I know the footer is calculating it all from there?

I did leave it in there for 3 days one time and it didn't do a single calculation.

When you view the source of the parsed page do you see the Analytics code at the bottom?

Which site? And did you go thru the verify step? Can't remember if its verify or what but you have to tell it in the control panel that the code has been loaded.

Yeah I also had it verified, and my site gets a lot of traffic so there is no reason for it to not log the stats, kinda stumped on this one.

Is there any script providing a service like Clicky Web Analytics 2.0 ?

I prefer to buy the licence of a script instead of buying a service
