 |  is this true about backlinks? I found such table in PR finder site http://www.pagerankf.com It shows how many back links do you need to get PR... Do you think it's true? Or just guessing?  |

| Re: is this true about backlinks? It's really hard to tell these days what is accurate and if the calculation is on target. My guess would be 65% that it's right and the other half, well...it's always a toss in the air  |

| Re: is this true about backlinks? I think the calculation is far more complex than simply counting the number of BL's , you would need to consider Trust and PR of the linking URL, as well as your own outgoing links.

| Re: is this true about backlinks? i was refering to pagerank table once. but found that its not always true. a pr5 page from site A is not same weight as a pr5 page from site B. so, this makes the pagerank table, not comprehensive enough to estimate the pr

| Re: is this true about backlinks? The PR passed from 1 site to another can vary depending on the number of outbound links from the contributing site. Tables are and only give an indication, don't entirely believe them, there are too many variables that are not taken into account.
