YouTube as Marketing Tactic?

I've read on here that using YouTube can be a good marketing move to promote a site, so I'm testing the theory

Yes Youtube can and is a great marketing tool. So many products have and are advertised there under the guise of funny videos it's amazing and free. Novell had launched a spoof on PC vs MAC videos awhile back. While the videos are funny and all that the reality is that the company is saving millions
in advertising. Not only they have posted it there, but it has also being featured on technocrati and thousands of websites (including mine) for free. So if You have a product and/or service as well as camera and a sense of humour save a buck and post the video there.

Youtube can be a good place to spam. What do we call it VSpam, Uspam or somethign else?
