I might have to sell www.sc3m.com as my workload is very high at the moment. Its heavily promoted and has 0ver 4,400 submissions with average of 100 submitted per day.
Featured links make around $30-$40 a month.
Adsense low at around $7 per month
Sitewide footer links made $40 last month(3 months listing)
PR is 4
Alexa Rank 211,372
Total Backlinks: 2,748

What do you think i should ask for it?

Midi, since we talk about the Earth Smallest Directory i don't think that it would worth to much

If i would have some saved money I would be interested in your directory, but i don't have

I guess USD200 would be fair price but don't have too much experience in website trading.

Otherwise my i suggest you to implement this code into your .htaccess file

try checking at http://info.vilesilencer.com/. Go to their forum. Some of the prices I have seen there are really interesting. You might get really high price from what I have seen there.

Midlandi, this may appear different, but give this a thought, or I a spouting rubbish?

Do you want to sell, or have to sell? Seems such a shame after building this up (did you do something similar with free2link?). Why not invite editors, not for pay bu provided they check am agreed number of submissions a month provide the editor with a featured listing. That way if you do not need to sell then you still remain in control of your directory.

For the exact value I could only guess, but dnscoop indicates a worth of $4,635.

$4k I'd sell it for $5k an even sell if it's value is that high.

I hope You know that any automatic appraisal tool is over pricing things. That means that my domain (i can't even get $100 for it) is worth $440USD. It also appraised that I could get $15/month from text link ads. Those guys rejected the site outright.

Very true, but it was just thought if it was worth that much (IRL). It's tough finding a solution to get a site sold for it's accurate value. Best of luck for you detoam, it is a big challenge.
