Smile What is the best way to get your website optimized?

That is the question burning in my mind. Each Search Engine has a different approach and method to getting yourself on the top of the pile. I have read several howto websites and I've had several send me a "buy my ebook on how to be #1" email. But how do you get there?

Anyone know of any GOOD links on how to do this that doesn't cost $39.95 all the time?

Come on and Ring my phone.

Peace

Till now , i have never spend money on SEO , except for softwares which makes my work fast but doesn't really needed at start
The best approach is to use your brain , get some out bound links , do on page optimization and hurrah you are on #1

Here's a small tip that will get you far. (They're mixed up but they're good an will help you get listed and keep viewers and gain traffic all at the same time.)
  1. Limit your description to 113 words.
  2. Limit your Keywords to 8
  3. Add a LOT of content on your site that is QUALITY.
  4. Don't add Flashy garbage and things that cause a slow down to the crawl and give it a heart attack.
  5. Submit to search engines every 3 months (and remember which ones you submitted to) DON'T use an auto submitter either.
  6. Submit to directories every week (at least 6 a day) and make sure they're PR3+
  7. Get a domain name that is keyword easy (which means that are words people use daily)
  8. Have clean source code that is not crammed with garbage. (Let the spiders crawl your site at ease) Looks better when they get you listed.
  9. Don't spend money on SEO garbage that will waist your money, time and valuable hard work that you could have done and actually gotten somewhere without spending a dime!
  10. Write Articles and Press Releases about your company and what you offer, and how the products and services can benefit your viewers.

Ok I'm done, hope that helps

Have been checking on external links of my competitors. Am trying to match with them by submitting on some of the sites they used. But inevitably, some links-submission site with PR4 and above cost to much. Still looking for free submission sites that don't require reciprocal link.

Default search engine optimized?

From my experience, MSN pays a lot attention to onsite optimization. Google pays a lot attention to backlinks - especially quality links. Yahoo is somewhere in between, weighing both onsite contents and backlinks.

as IMO... those that have to rely on CB to promote their product is not a true seo. if they are so good, they will ranked themselve. and furthermore, that is not the only thing they did to ranked.

The best way to optimized your site is to research the best and competitive keywords and must be related to your site. Consider also the keyword density, promixity, prominence, keyword traffic and searches per month.
There are many great keyword research tools which are free to use. I would recommend making a list of your most relevant search terms then entering them into one of the research tools listed below. The search tools listed below will spit out related key phrases, but the Overture tool will also show you the amount of times each key phrase was searched on.

Google algorithm value on the quality of backlinks while Yahoo and MSN is more focus on content and keyword density. Optimize your site using your targeted keywords and using the seo tool.

This is what I would recommend.
  • Buld more back links and keep track.
  • Check your results every week by keywords to link popularity
  • Submit to PR3 and up websites, use a page rank tool everytime if you have too.
  • Don't submit to just any directory (if you are doing this) it just makes you look like you're on a spam fest when you get the results back from Google and the other engines when people search for your specific keywords and see you listed on almost everything, and find that you're on sites with no quality at all.

Hope this helps, it's just a little useful tips to get you started, which is all you really need at the moment, and then you can get the bigger picture going when you have your own system pat down

When you get links only use one keyword as the link. I got from dead last to no 2 out 28 million web pages in one year with links.
