![]() | That is the question burning in my mind. Each Search Engine has a different approach and method to getting yourself on the top of the pile. I have read several howto websites and I've had several send me a "buy my ebook on how to be #1" email. But how do you get there? Anyone know of any GOOD links on how to do this that doesn't cost $39.95 all the time? Come on and Ring my phone. Peace D. |

![]() | Have been checking on external links of my competitors. Am trying to match with them by submitting on some of the sites they used. But inevitably, some links-submission site with PR4 and above cost to much. Still looking for free submission sites that don't require reciprocal link. |

From my experience, MSN pays a lot attention to onsite optimization. Google pays a lot attention to backlinks - especially quality links. Yahoo is somewhere in between, weighing both onsite contents and backlinks.

![]() | as IMO... those that have to rely on CB to promote their product is not a true seo. if they are so good, they will ranked themselve. and furthermore, that is not the only thing they did to ranked.

![]() | The best way to optimized your site is to research the best and competitive keywords and must be related to your site. Consider also the keyword density, promixity, prominence, keyword traffic and searches per month. There are many great keyword research tools which are free to use. I would recommend making a list of your most relevant search terms then entering them into one of the research tools listed below. The search tools listed below will spit out related key phrases, but the Overture tool will also show you the amount of times each key phrase was searched on. ![]() | Google algorithm value on the quality of backlinks while Yahoo and MSN is more focus on content and keyword density. Optimize your site using your targeted keywords and using the seo tool. |
