I was confused as to the theme of your site? What's it about?
I do like your use of "white space". Clean design, however, your
XHTML does not validate.

Errors such as escaping your & character into &, closing your image tags />.

the site is primarily about news, ideas, poetry, music, everything sent by users. You can send images and files, powerpoint presentations, etc.

A suggestion if i may.
Visitors will not know what the site is about.
Put some info on your landing page to let visitors know.

Of course you may. Only the client has not put any texts so I had to make it all up. The site still beta and probably will launch sometime next week. The system I actually think is really kewl but it definetely is missing content. I suppose they will post some messages in the next few weeks.
