Hi,all
I really need some helps on msn search ranking.
I have a rc toys, rc hobby site,has good ranking on google & yahoo,and get most of the traffic from google & yahoo search.
But, has just so-so ranking on msn.get very little traffic from msn.
Can some experts teach me how to get better search ranking on msn please ?
Any suggestions & advices are welcome .

As far as I know msn algo put more weight on the meta tags especially the description, and keywords tag than any other search engines. According to my memory msn owns the least market share among the three big guns

Well congrats on getting good rankings in Google as that will bring you the most traffic. I have excellent rankings in MSN with decent in Google and not so great in Yahoo. MSN does seem to like search engine friendly URLs, strong keywords in Title Tags & Description meta tags. Also make use of <h1> tags and just have good content. Links are not as important as they are in Google. Hope that helps a bit. Feel free to let me know what your website is and I can try to take a look at it.

My site is http://www.rcplaneguide.com/
Has about 1300 visitors daily from google and yahoo combine,
has only about 60 visitors from msn daily.
About the ranking:
for example: the key word : rc plane
My site is the #1 position in yahoo
top 10 position in google.
when I search the key word "rc planes"
my site listed at # 6 in google, #10 in yahoo
and in msn I can't find my site in top 30. and there are a lot of other keyword related to rc helicopters,rc cars,rc trucks,rc boats like this situation too !

please help.

I think that is normal, msn is quite small.

I noticed your keywords contents is over 800 characters long. Over 255 in length is discarded I believe.
Your title looks like it's keyword stuffed.

I was going to say that...your title tag for your home page needs to be reduced and change some of the "RC"s to "Remote Control" & "Remote Controlled" or something of that nature to add those keywords...reduce that title and you might do much better. If you search things like Electric Boats on MSN you do just fine in rankings...so adjust your home page and consider adding "Remote Control" a bit more to cater to people that search that keyphrase not just "RC"

Hi,
How do you explain;
when you use keyword remote control to search such as:
remote control plane in google I'm in 3 place with 23,100,000 compitition
and in msn , I'm not even in top 40 with just 741,046 compitition. I'm just in 50th place.
So,I thing,I do have some keyword remote control on my home page .
what do you think

Oh I mean in your Title Tag. If you search for "Remote Control Plane" without the quotes in Google then you notice the RC keywords in your Title are bolded showing that Google recognizes that as meaning "Remote Control" but if you do the same on MSN.com and look at Title Tags they are not bolded where you see "RC" meaning you should probably put "Remote Control" somewhere in your title tag as well as shortening your title tag. It doesn't hurt to try and see if MSN picks up on it...Google doesn't rely nearly as much on Title Tags as MSN does so if anything, I would think it could only help you by trying to adjust your title tag for your home page. Let me know if you see any results because I really hope we can get this adjusted for you.

If I shortning my title tag,that means I nedd to shorten my keywords .I'm afraid I will lose my possition on some of my keyword such as: rc trains , gopeds , gas airsoft guns .....
Because my site is not just rank well on keyword "rc"
My website also contain a lots of info on airsoft guns,scooters,rc robot kits & radio flyer wagons. I'm really afraid I'll lose my position if I shortening my title tag.
what do you think?

Bagi Zoltan is correct in what he says.

MSN place a lot of emphasis on meta tags, descriptions etc and also anchor text.

I had a site with very little text, mainly just features, ads, pictures and got it to number 1 for my preffered search term by adjusting my meta tags and using the same anchor text on all inbound links.

Believe it or not, I have average backlinks in Google and Yahoo but 0 MSN. And am still have PR2. Guess if you have good keyword density you would rank high in MSN.
