![]() | Hi, I did some work on the site in the last month and currently I see that Google has only 50 or so images indexed from the site, (used to be over 3000), same with links (gone way down) and with "Contain the Term" - has around 900 + pages which used to be around 12000 ): I am wondering if anyone thinks that I over optimized the site cause all of the changes that were made are in the meta tags... Thanks a lot in advance. Here is the link to the site: Drum Solo Artist |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | For first sight I don't think that you would over optimized the site, but as i see all you display at the main page are links. Maybe your site would be more relevant for the desired keyphrases adding some real content. Please tell us some more details what you have done in the last month concernig the meta tags.

![]() | Thanks for your reply, - I used this tool: http://www.submitexpress.com/analyzer/ to tweak the meta tags to be more relevant ... Before the tool showed 60% or less for relevancy, I just improved the existing description, and keywords tags to be more relevant thats it. - nothing else was touched. |

![]() | Well it looks like things are getting back to normal now... So my best guess is that some kind of update from Google was going on at the time, and thats why I saw the partial results. Thanks |

![]() ![]() | Technically you can overoptimise, it is called spamming or keyword stuffing. It is late at night now, but I will go into this in more detail tomorrow.

![]() ![]() | Midlandi, would you like to say first why you think you can not overoptimise a site? I don't want to take time writing a long post if we already agree on something but call it something different ![]()
