This was one of the weirdest things. I just blanked for like ten minutes. All I know is I look at my clock and it was saying 11:19 then I blinked and it was 11:30. I guess I really should get some sleep.

Glad you were not driving. Can you imagine leaving a place and a blink later you are somewhere else with no recollection how you got their. Go get some sleep!

I used to be on computers so much that my eyes would miss parts of text out - used to have to look away from a screen for about 10 minutes to read something

When I used to be a salesman. We would go to different towns to sell and we would always bet each other as to who would get the most sales or the biggest commission and stuff like that. One week we went really far up north. about a 12 hour drive. We had a great week. The night before last day we partied really hard and no one got a good sleep. next day we worked for about ten hours and then had to go back straight home cause we had to drop off one of the guys at another branch of our company. Of course I had to drive. So we piled on (it was one of those huge Dodge Vans). there were 8 guys, I think, and about 20-30 thousand dollars worth of equipment. Away we went. About five six hours later we finally got to where we were supposed to drop the guy off. I have never been to that city before, but he showed me the way. After dropping me off We went home. everyone was drinking on the back of the Van and passing around some pot. They all passed out pretty soon. It was really late at night the highway is empty and it's freaking boring (if anyone been to Saskatchewan before they know what I am talking about) and I was tired as hell. So we are going down the road and I fell asleep. I am not too sure how long it was before I heard the honk, but I am pretty sure it was awhile. Thankfully Saskatchewan roads are as straight and flat as Dick Chaney's heart beat. We didn't crash and I didn't tell the guys until after the weekend about what happened. But from then on I never drive when I am that tired. Sure as hell wouldn't want the guilt of killing bunch of friends on my conscious.

I've to Thailand. Back in December '95. We docked just south of Bangkok. I didn't even know that we were that close to there until we left. I don't remember what the name of the town was, just that it was pretty small and only about 30 miles away from Bangkok.
