 |  Yahoo Ranking Hey, I have couple different websites all ranking very well in Google. But none of them get a lot of hits from Yahoo. Forexample, one of my sites gets over couple thousand hits from Google search, but only a few hundred from Yahoo... How can I go about SEOing my sites for Yahoo? Other than paying $300 a year to be listed in Yahoo directory. |

| Re: Yahoo Ranking Yahoo! algo puts more weight on the onpage factors like keyword density, bold style and headings. Try to examine your site from this aspect as well, and if it's possible and don't reduce the experience of the visitors use them

Why pay.. Our buddy Bagi Zoltan is correct. Onpage optimization and keywords density is the biggest factor for ranking in Yahoo. But Yahoo changes it's algorithm lately. Add more backlinks..... That's what I've experience but the biggest factor is the keyword density, the h1 and more.... | |

| Re: Yahoo Ranking Yahoo algorithm is more focus on the onpage optimization that includes meta tag title and description. One also is the content of your site, try to submit article to article directories that includes your keywords. Or used Yahoo services such as Yahoo answer and yahoo blog. |

If you want to rank in Google focus your site on quality links... Link building is good in Google.. Try submitting to directories with Good Rankings in Google and exchange links with related site ranking well in Google. That will do the trick..  | |
