I think a lot of you submitted to my directory Eric's Directory and got approved. (you will recognize yourself )

After working very hard at the layout I submitted my directory to directorycritic and got approved. So now...it would be great if you took a short moment to vote for my directory.
You can find the link on almost every page, on the right, next to the categories.

And the traffic is not that much right now...but I really intend to promote my little directory and to add a lot of new functionalities....so it will increase, I'm sure of that.

I use Google Analytics amongst others but surely the most and on a daily basis.
Right now, I didn't see any traffic coming from your site. But I think you, like me, know that the directory's are mostly used for generating backlinks and getting higher results in the SERP's...

Thats what I try to change with my directory... I will be very critic before adding new sites (quality before quantity ), will stay in my niche, will add some interactive functionalities like rating, reviewing, top lists, and so on. All in the hope that submitters will challenge each other to gain a high position in the directory and that visitors find really good info about the niche. After all, my directory is not stand-alone but a add-in to my site witch offers a great resource to find related information.

The first days they surely bring you a lot of traffic. Many submitters go to the new added directory's to find submission possibilities.
After that, it slows down but it continue to bring some traffic. I think that many look for the voting points then, to find the most interesting directories to submit to.
I'm also on the review list of http://info.vilesilencer.com/forum/r...eferrerid=2119 . Not yet approved to his top500 list, but already getting some traffic.
