![]() | Is there any possible to have a code to keep my site from using so much of bandwidth? I mean I would like to have little/some code to keep my site from getting too much of bandwidth. Possible... Or no? So that way it would save me some bandwidth.

![]() | I think the only way you can reduce your bandwidth is to physically reduce the size of your site, ie take images down to a minimum. Stop certain crawlers from coming on your website, you can do this is .htaccess If your scripts is able to use compression turn it on, these will reduce bandwidth, without effecting the content of your website. Thanks Gary |

![]() ![]() | Which site is it? you can reduce bandwidth by caching pages. there are other ways also. like excluding spiders from pages etc. Give us the url of the site and the type. If it is Joomla then prepare to get slaughtered by bandwidth/resources as it is a bitch.

| Newcomer | Caching wont help, it will only reduce page load time, not bandwith if you are using php, then in first line after <?php add ob_start('ob_gzhandler'); |
