My New Directory

Hi there,

What do you think of my desing on http://www.dir-ty.com/ so far. I haven't finished it yet, but I want to know what you think about the initail front page design. None of the links are active yet because I only started it today, but tell me what you think.

Um not sure, i cant put my finger on it but something is missing.
Design is different and clean, but needs something?

Looks good but personally I have a problem with the "I" in the "DIR". It's not completely clear and I had to compare your logo with your domain-name to understand it.

I'll get right on it, it was quickly whipped up but I'll try and get something good put up there, I might run another logo competition, the last one went great on NaxBase.

So you think the design is good but something is missing...hmmm...could it be something to do with the menu? I did have some buttons there but I couldn't decide whether to keep them or not.

It just needs a background picture its too white other than that - Very original :thumbs

I like the blue, but it needs something extra, maybe a better background

I would center your banner at the top, it's too far to the left. Everything else is looking good, I love the colors.

I think thats the problem - its too clean - needs a bit of life etc

too clean.. i don't like the logo. maybe match if you use web2.0 logo design.. place it in the center of the page, and add some background color to logo..

your site is good.and you have done great work.but as every one said its too simple.. and really its very simple. and also place the banner at center. and try to use more color. your site is life less. try to add more images. and bring life to your site.

Erm...this website isn't a directory anymore. Sorry but it isn't lifeless, it is a forum that has only just opened. Plus it is a forum so I am pretty limited to what I can do.
