![]() | What have I started? You guys really are brilliant. I've got a new site to do, can I sum up what you are saying? Better to have headlines in larger bold type with keywords Sub heads a bit smaller Body text can be smaller still Top left is preferred to bottom right Get the keywords into the Headers rather than body copy It is not the actual type size which matters, it is their relationship to each other. (I like my pages to look nice, so I don't want to shout.) My new site is about short-breaks scotland and I've got masses of directories to get past, they fill the first ten pages. I can use smaller search terms such as Highlands or Glencoe, but really people look for Scotland first. John |

![]() ![]() | I am a partner in a company that runs a wales site called www.stayinginwales.com you will be surprised what people search for Do the keyword research carefully and througoughly. including location names etc. Once your site is up, give us a shout we can trade some links internally contenxtually (the best links of all). Don't take SIW as a guide though as I had to try and sort out an unholey mess when I became involved with this site (we have a few others in that company as well). It is page 1 for accommodation wales though top 5 so we must have done something right LOL

![]() | Ok OldWelshGuy - I don't feel good calling you that. Perhaps YoungWelshBrain? Sounds good to me. I have a travellers blog with a pr4 and this is good for one way links. We could use it now if you like. John |
