How can I tell Google to index my website?

And can I choose specifc keywords so when people run a search they will see my website listed? Appreciate in advance all the help you can give

Get your site listed in directories.
Use the keywords you want the search engines to find your website with in the text on your html pages.

Upload a Google sitemeap into the webmasters area, that way Google knows what to index. When Google looks at your page it will pick out relevant keywards/phrases from the indexed pages.

i agree with alan create a sitemap and submit it to google sitmaps area, also get some good relevant links into your site the spiders will soon find you these 2 things will get u indexed in no time.

submit ur site to directory with higher PR. this will index faster by google n increase ur PR also...

Get backlinks, submit a sitemap (after validation, and assuming the site is more than 20 pages) Make sure the navigation is spiderable, and you should get spidered. Getting listed highly in the Search Engine Result Pages (SERP's) though is a whole different ballgame

Yeah! the best way is to create sitemap convert it to XML and submit it to google
