The best way is to have a link on a site which is crawled many times by the google robot. So you need a link on a high PR page.

The best way to show Google your site exists is to get a link for a few days on a PR5 page or higher. NEVER use the manual submission field Google has to submit websites, instead generate a Google Sitemap and submit via the sitemap page.

The easiest and best way to get your site indexed in Google is to use XML Google Sitemaps

Have a good quality backlink with that/those specific keywords. Will solve two issues, first Google will come visit and find you, secondly it will give an improvement in your rank for that keyword.

All of these are great ideas! I personally bookmark a new URL with Stumble and Del.ici.ous as well as a couple of more and the URL is usually indexed in Google withing 24-48 hours. This has been the quickest way for me besides putting your link on a high traffic PR5 or 6!!

Anyone mention posting an ad on craigslist.org? That will get your site indexed rather quickly... It gets crawled everyday because there are so many ads posted on it (even if your ad gets removed, chances are google spider will have already hit it before the fact)

The other way is through forums. Participate in forum using your signature. Get more backlinks such as submitting your link to directories, sitemaps and through link exchange .
