| Member | Hi, in my modest opinion DMOZ is a superlative directory, and it means that only quality sites are included in,but there is too much time to wait for being included in while there are not enough editors, and the sites submitted for review every day are growing faster and faster. Why they don't take more editors? The druid |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I don't know, but I put in for a position as an editor a few weeks back and I'm still waiting to hear back from them. Obviously they don't think that they are in need of editors. |

It means that this editor won't be as relevant as he could be in his proper category, and then he will need help from other editors. For this they have an enormous job to do. |

![]() ![]() | The reason it does not have enough editors is because they turn down offers from people. I wonder if they are actually going to shut it down. After that big trouble they had when some dumb*ss accidentally deleted their backups they have been getting worser and worser. I wonder if AOL is going to copy that directory into a new one and make it paid directory. Yahoo charges $300.00/year for listing. AOL has been going down the tubes for a long time now this could be their way out of red ink. |
