Question Interpreting website speed test results

I was thrilled to find the website speed test but I'm having trouble understanding my results. I entered several sites that we built and maintain at work and the results seemed too good to be true. How is the "Size" measured? I know for a fact that the graphic sizes on the pages add up to quite a bit more than the speed test results showed. The load times were very fast - the longest was .55 seconds. But what does this mean? How would it compare to the load time experienced by a visitor with an an average or below average speed internet connection?

Default Re: Interpreting website speed test results

I think it depends on the server speed, but its you an idea. Try testing other sites too and you will see th differences.
