I agree that in order to increase your traffic you must add your site to major search engines but my own website is a search engine in its own,hence i felt other wise that in order to gain more traffic and hits to your website one must trackback links with websites that have a better page rank on major seos like google,after all the main objective is to increase your page rank and feature in the top index page.

I don't use automated submission 'coz you will not know whether you put it on the right category... it will affect your link popularity...

I do not suggest to submit sites to the search engines. I don't think that this method would be the best solution, building backlinks is much more natural way to get into the index, and the level of the trust will be also higher in my opinion.

Dont submit.

There is absolutely no need to submit to search engines as they find your site through the backlinks that lead to pages on your site.

Just concentrate on creating quality content and encouraging people to link to it.
