Actually i don't like the color combination of your website and it's very simple in content. don't be offended ... you will find thousand's of website with same type of content. Do something more ... may be change the theme, color combination, more interesting articles.

The colour/font combination is REALLY bad, it is almost unreadable with the blue on grey at the top. I can see what your SEO advisor (maybe you) is trying to do there by getting the text near the top of the page, But I would suggest you have that text as possibly alt attribute text for the header image and use it as a home link. Far better for both SEO & usability.

One final thing. I would say thet your adsense use is not compliant with the terms & Conditions. Above your adsense block you have the words 'subscribe to'. Now I know that there is a link next to it to allow you to subscribe, but in my experience I can tell you with 99% sureity that Google will call it as inticing people to click or drawing attention to ads.

Place a solid line break between the ads and the text above it at the very least or you could find your adsense account closed if someone reports you
