Question for Directory Owners

I have a question i hope someone can help with.
I hqve recently changed my directory to paid and am looking for sites where i can list the directory.
When it was free i was listed at a few Free Directory sites and was getting around 60-100 submissions a day.
Does anyone know of similar sites for paid directories?

I wish. I have exactly the same problem. I had just one directory and it was free, but I have built a network of them and made it into paid directories. I have advertised it in as many places as I could, but now it's no submissions at all.
By the way do You wanna trade links?

If your site is SEO Friendly and has good PR you might be able to get onto Vilesilencer's list of paid directories http://info.vilesilencer.com
His spreadsheet has a tab for free, paid, and a lot of niche directories (artists, auto, blogs, books, financial, food, forums, gaming.....)

The other option would be to try to get your directory listed in some of the directory submission software packages.

Seems like it might be hard to get webmasters make the switch to paid directories with so many free directories with good PR out there. But the extra $$ would be nice. Good luck.

Paid directories will only work if you have a PR6 Directory For now, keep it a FREE Directory or a Reciprocal Directory And continiue increasing your pagerank!

I say this because I would personally pay to be listed on a PR 5 Directory ... Its logical.

I think a paid directory requires a lot more promotion and advertising to make it work than a free directory. Guess you have to spend money to make money.
