Cannot find backlinks

Hi all,

I've been working for fesamuelsproperties.co.uk for months 2/3 months. For last one month I've been submitting it's information to different web directories. But I've not find any result yet, only 2-3 directories come if I search fesamuelsproperties.co.uk.

Can anyone tell me what's going wrong?

do you mean link:sitename.com is not giving result ? i believe you have to wait google to find the directory pages that you submit

usually,
for the first 2 months , google don't show you links.

Can anyone tell me the difference between searching link:http://www.fesamuelsproperties.co.uk and just www.fesamuelsproperties.co.uk?

the "link:" is link from a site
the second search for the text "mysite.com" ( like a context) but it's not link

Google wont show you all your links! USE http://www.marketleap.com/publinkpop/ to see how many links you really have!

Try to check your links on Yahoo, it shows more links than Google.

sometimes google show only sample backlinks. thats called 'sampling'

Yes, I agree with them... Try using this link to check what really is your backlinks...

I think you have to wait for 2 to 3 months till the google update to see backlinks in Google and same for the PR

Till that keep on building quality backlinks which point towards your site and get the good results on update.
