| Re: I got into DMOZ in a week. Congrats on getting in. The problem I'm running into is that the niche I want to submit to is very small and there is no editor. So it is a neglected segment. I applied to become an editor a couple years ago and was denied. Re-applied a couple of weeks ago, but haven't heard back yet. I had heard recently that they were going to be more responsive in getting directories listed, but hard to say if that will really happen. I think the biggest factor on getting listed depends on the editors (if there is one, if it is a competitive segment, if they use it as some power trip....) Good luck to everyone on your efforts! |

He was extremely lucky, after some months he was listed in DMOZ  and now he has PR 4 with a terrible site (it looks like a link farm).I took my lesson, never abandon a domain, even if you dont need it.
