     |  Digg Exploits HD-DVD Encryption Key! It's ALL over the Internet, and in just 22 hours, 284 THOUSAND Google results for the leaked encryption key. I won't post it here for the protection of iWEBTOOL, but look at www.digg.com - it's EVERYWHERE! In fact: http://www.flickr.com/photo_zoom.gne...0718913&size=l That photo shows ALL front page stories about the encryption key. The MPAA is probably furious. It got leaked originally on digg by a user submitting a story of a take-down notice from the MPAA of the leaked encryption key... but the story contained the encryption key!  Anywho, enjoy it. -Matt

I'm not exactly sure what an HD-DVD encrytion key would be used for, but it's something else how every single front page story on digg has something to do with this key. What's gonna happen is that this big company is going to claim huge losses due to this, and they are going to take down digg, and possibly new laws will be passed to prevent this from happening again. Jail time for anyone promoting piracy? It wouldn't do them any good. So what exactly is a HD-DVD encryption key? |

| Re: Digg Exploits HD-DVD Encryption Key! Thats why I love the internet, people fight hard to keep their freedoms. I think its to stop transmission between different hd devices. Simliarly to with mpeg2 I'm surprised by just how crap the encryption the mpaa uses is. I just don't get it. Is it that they want us to crack it?
