 |  Web page ranking I have been using web ranking software to compare my site with a competitor to see the differences and they are number 1 on the google word search, but google ranking tests say they are not in the top 100. I am misunderstanding the ranking tests or do they not work. How do you you get a site to number one, is it the number of links back to my site? Cheers Andrew |

| Re: Web page ranking SE's have different algorithms to give you rankings, but IMO, in any SE the most impt. are content and relevant back links |

| Re: Web page ranking I agree. Backlinks are VERY important. Why don't you try article submission to build them up. There's free article submission software to help you. Look for ArtemisLite. It did wonders for me!
