Currently its allmost all culled wire services (cheeky I know) but hopefully I'll be adding some unique content soon.

Um... no I'm afraid. Its just a bog standard news blog that I'm hoping to get enough PR from to sell affiliate links.
And it's called unregistered news because unregisterednews was the first unregistered news domain that I could find! Also it'll hopefully be about news that isn't popular.

Any tips regarding SEO or aesthetics?

Nice site, though the title is really confusing, 'cause "unregistered" is somehow associated with " not verified" or something that you can't give credit to.
Oh and the PR is rather decent.

Cheers oklin. I agree about the name.... it probably doesn't fill users with confidence! I'll have to make a tag line more obvious like "news that doesn't hit the news" or something.
Yeah was really happy about the PR5, got it in 3 months pretty much just from submitting to blog and rss directories.

Yeah I would deffinitly consider a tagline or something becuase it looks like a serious newspage. nice site though. The only thing i would do different is have the main articles stand out a little more, not blend in with the rest of the articles, and have the other articles, if its 2 columns, just spaced evenly with the titles.
