PageRank button needs validation

The current code is not XHTML 1.0 Transitional valid. You forgot to self-close the image tag. The current:

HTML Code:

<a href="http://www.iwebtool.com/webmasters/pagerank_button/" target="_blank"> <img alt="PageRank Button" src="http://www.iwebtool.com/images/pagerank_numimage.png" border="0"></a>

Needs to be changed to:

HTML Code:

<a href="http://www.iwebtool.com/webmasters/pagerank_button/" target="_blank"> <img alt="PageRank Button" src="http://www.iwebtool.com/images/pagerank_numimage.png" border="0" /></a>

Hi there,

I don't think iWEBTOOL really go for the validation, but thanks for telling us, maybe they will change it? As far as I know quiet a few pages don't obide all of the XHTML rules.

I thing the closing slash only depends on the declared html standard.

The code is correct for HTML. You only need the close on the img tag on XHTML.
