Default Re: Google Position

I think YES and NO. It will depend on which keyword you are trying to push your website to the top at Google for.

For instance, I never tried to promote my website at Google for this keyword, but when you do a search for the keyword 'Rebrandable', my website appears on the top position, pointing to this page:

http://www.alfalogic.com/services/re...s_projects.htm

So first, it depends on which keyword you are working for, then who are your competitors, their website's positions in search engines, their number, rankings, etc.

But in most cases, it's possible to have your website listed on the top of the search results for several specific keywords, by:

1) Optimizing your website, its code and content for search engines for those keywords
2) Creating a strong link popularity campaign for your site
3) Using those specific keywords very often when promoting your website in the forums, articles, magazines, etc. - like when using the signature in the forums
4) And the best key is by working hard and everyday.

Hope this helps.
Tom

In other words, no, there is no simple way of doing it. It takes hard work and determination. Without both of those, you won't get much in the way of results from the search engines. Nice answer by the way alfalogic.
