How do I detect bouncing visitors?

Hi,

What javascript code do I need to put in my html in order to wait 10 seconds after the page loads and then call urchin.js?

I have a flash movie on my home page and traffic comes in from SEO and PPC, which we track with Google Analytics.

I have already implemented java calls to run urchin from within the flash movie when users click on menu items and navigate around the movie, so we can already see and understand quite well those visitors that get as far as the flash movie.

We now want to focus on our visitors that bounce before the movie loads and understand better how long they stick around before closing the browser window. I want to create calls to urchin using javascript within the html on my page, that run after the browser window has been open 10 seconds and after 30 seconds. I already record the start of the flash movie, so with the combined data I will be able to detect which users waited for 10 seconds, and 30 seconds for the movie to start, and I can identify users who give up and leave.

Hi,

Replace urchinTracker(); with setTimeout("urchinTracker()",10000);
It will call function urchinTracker() after 10 sec.

I'm not using Google Analytics so wasn't able to test this. If it's not working let me know and we'll find another solution.

When i was last time checking urchin source, i saw some lines of code, that allows only one time in page execute urchin code
